You may upload the documents listed below to capture the three pieces of information required (name, date of birth and photograph):
- Birth Certificate

- Garda Age Card

- Irish Residency Permit
What happens after I upload my documents?
Your application, incuding all the documentation uploaded, will need to be verified manually by one of our agents in the card processing center.
This manual verification can take longer than standard ID verification to complete, as the validity of the documents need to be checked. We do allow for up to two weeks to get this process completed, especially during seasonal peak times like back to school period, however we aim to complete all card applications as soon as possible.
