TFI Leap Card Kilkenny

TFI Leap Card is up to 30% cheaper than cash single fares. You can travel on City Direct services in Kilkenny city, for as little as €1.60 with a TFI Adult Leap Card or €0.55  with a TFI Young Adult, Student or Child Leap Card. For more details on fares and tickets, check out our fares section.

It can be used on Kilkenny City bus services (operated by City Direct), on TFI Local Link services and commuter & rural services operated by Bus Éireann in Kilkenny.

There is no Leap discount for single fares purchased on Bus Éireann Expressway services but TFI Leap Card may be used as a convenient method of payment.

You can download the Leap Top-up App to top up directly from your phone. TFI Leap Cards can also be topped up at Leap agents around the city.
