TFI Leap Card Kilkenny

TFI Leap Card is up to 30% cheaper than cash single fares. You can travel on City Direct services in Kilkenny city, for as little as €1.50 with a TFI Adult Leap Card, €0.75  with a TFI Young Adult (19-25)/Student or €0.65 with a TFI Child Leap Card. It can be used on Kilkenny City bus services (operated by City Direct), on TFI Local Link services and commuter & rural services operated by Bus Éireann in Kilkenny.

There is no Leap discount for single fares purchased on Bus Éireann Expressway services but TFI Leap Card may be used as a convenient method of payment.

You can download the Leap Top-up App to top up directly from your phone. TFI Leap Cards can also be topped up at Leap agents around the city.

Please note: Children aged 0-4 inclusive travel free on TFI services. Children aged 5 to 8 can now travel free on Transport for Ireland (TFI) services with a Child (5-8) TFI Leap Card.
